Parish Leadership
Priest-In-Charge
The Rev. Gary Fetter serves as Priest-In Charge of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Gary was ordained a transitional deacon in May, and will be ordained a priest in a few months. A native of eastern NC, Gary grew up in Carteret Co. and has spent most of his life in the Diocese of East Carolina.
Gary spent 20 years in his restaurant manager career before answering a call to the priesthood. He holds a Master of Divinity from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. At the heart of Gary’s ministry is a simple commitment: to serve God’s people faithfully and to walk alongside them in the ordinary and the holy moments of life. He is glad to be among the people of St. Paul’s and in Clinton.
Gary is married to his wife, Jodie, and together they are raising their seven-year old daughter. He enjoys reading and watching basketball.
